Better Cricket

Involvement: Art Direction, Design

Toyota, England Cricket's official car partner, sent out a call to cricket fans and players to come up with ways of making the game better. To promote the campaign, we created a poster series that brought their ideas to life.

At Saatchi & Saatchi, I had the opportunity to work with Toyota on the Better Cricket campaign; as they were the official partners of England Cricket.

The players and staff of the England Cricket team provided obscure suggestions of ways to make the game better. We visualised their ideas as 6 sheet prints that would be displayed at Lord’s Cricket ground to encourage fans to submit their own ideas. We worked with calligraphists to bring a human touch to the ideas from the players and staff.

Working with calligraphists, we created 6 different hand written styles that help to humanise the statements.
