To help make parents more aware of Google’s Be Internet Legends programme, we created Build Your Legend. An exciting interactive experience that helps families learn about digital safety together.
At Phantom, I had the opportunity to work with Google and ParentZone to create a digital experience that would raise awareness with parents about Google’s online safety programme, Be Internet Legends, being taught across schools in the UK.
Google came to us with this problem and we responded with a Be Internet Legends trophy that can be built by unlocking puzzle combinations through a digital quiz. Working alongside Dan Viveiros, we successfully created ‘Build Your Legend’ in which 275,000 trophies were sent to schools across the UK.
In order to build their legend, families had to answer 20 questions about online safety through our digital experience with each correct answer revealing building instructions.
3D animated instructions made it clear to families which pieces connected together.
After families completed building their Legend, they could customise a digital version to share their achievement.
Animated 3D accessories, patterns and colours for each body part allowed for some great customisation combinations.
275,000 Build Your Legend trophies were delivered to schools across the UK.
